Near Campus Work Study Opportunities!

The UVM Work Study Community Partner Program provides students with the opportunity to work with a local non-profit organization that is committed to the public interest and welfare of the nation and/or local community.

The same student employee rights and responsibilities as found in the Student Employment Office Student Agreement apply at off campus partner locations. 

Our valued community partners are:

• Burlington Afterschool Program
• Lund
• Shelburne Farms
• Trinity Children’s Center
• UVM Hillel

Community partners must meet the following criteria:

• The organization is non-profit
• The mission and vision of the organization is in the public interest and for the welfare of the nation and/or local community
• The organization is able to pay 25% of the student’s earnings on a maximum Federal Work Study award of $2,200
• The location of the organization is a short distance from the UVM campus
